Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit the YouthPro website (youth-pro.com), request access to the demo or contact us, and how you can exercise your rights. It is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese Law no. 58/2019.

1. Who is responsible

The controller is YouthPro Lda, tax number (NIF) 518935558, registered office at Rua Dom António de Campos, Alcobaça, Portugal, which develops and runs YouthPro.

For any question about your data: suporte@youth-pro.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the website and sales contact with YouthPro, for which YouthPro Lda is solely responsible.

YouthPro does not collect athlete data.

3. What data we process

Demo access request. When you fill in the demo form, we collect:

  • your name, email and mobile number;
  • the club's name, your role at the club, the main sport and the number of teams;
  • the language you filled the form in;
  • the date and time you accepted this policy;
  • your IP address and browser identification (user agent).

Find my club. The name or address you type is used only to look up the club and give you the address of its YouthPro area. We don't store it.

Protection against abuse. To limit repeated requests, your IP address is linked for a short time to a counter. Depending on the form, the counter expires after one minute to 24 hours.

Cookies and usage analytics. The website uses cookies it needs to work. With your consent, it also uses Google Analytics to measure how the site is used. The details are in the Cookie Policy.

Contact by email or WhatsApp. If you write to us, we process your contact details and your message in order to reply. The WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp, which belongs to Meta and is governed by Meta's terms and privacy policy.

We don't use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we don't sell it.

5. Who receives the data

The data is processed by the YouthPro team and by the service providers we need, each bound by a contract to protect it:

  • Our CRM (Odoo): each demo request is recorded as a sales contact.
  • Our sales team: receives an email with the request.
  • The YouthPro demo club: receives your email address, to create your access and send you the invitation.
  • Hosting and server management: this includes Laravel Forge, through which the invitation is created on the demo server.
  • Email delivery: the provider that delivers our emails.
  • Google (Google Analytics): only if you accept analytics cookies.

We may also disclose data to the authorities where the law requires it.

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some providers, such as Google and Laravel Forge, may process data in the United States. In those cases the transfer relies on an adequacy decision by the European Commission (the EU–US Data Privacy Framework), where the provider is certified, or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.

7. How long we keep the data

  • Demo requests: for as long as we're in sales contact with you, or until you object to that contact, whichever comes first. The IP address is deleted after 90 days.
  • Demo club access: lasts 7 days. After that, the account is deleted from the demo.
  • Messages: for as long as it takes to deal with the matter.
  • Google Analytics: usage data is kept for the configured retention period, at most 14 months.
  • Cookies: each cookie's lifetime is set out in the Cookie Policy.

Data may be kept longer where the law requires it, for example for invoicing if you become a customer.

8. Your rights

You can ask us at any time for:

  • access to your data;
  • correction of data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • erasure of the data;
  • restriction of processing;
  • data portability;
  • objection to processing based on legitimate interest.

You can also withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before then. For analytics cookies, use "Change cookie settings" at the bottom of any page.

To exercise these rights, write to suporte@youth-pro.com. We reply within one month.

If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD, www.cnpd.pt).

9. Children

The website and the demo form are meant for club officials and staff, not for children. We don't collect data about athletes or about children.

10. Security

The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to the management area requires two-factor authentication. Data is only accessible to those who need it. No system is completely secure, but we review these measures regularly.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the last update is at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll say so on the website.
