Terms and Conditions of Use

These terms govern the use of YouthPro: the youth-pro.com website, the demo club and the sports management platform provided to clubs. By using YouthPro, you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't use the platform.

1. Who we are

YouthPro is developed and run by YouthPro Lda, tax number (NIF) 518935558, registered office at Rua Dom António de Campos, Alcobaça, Portugal ("we").

2. What YouthPro is

YouthPro is a management platform for youth sports clubs and organisations. It covers, among other things, squads, training, matches, medical records, and communication with athletes and their parents and guardians. Add-on modules cover payments, memberships, tournaments and SMS messages.

Each club that subscribes to YouthPro (the "Club") has its own area, with its own address and its own database. Users, such as officials, coaches, athletes and their parents and guardians, access the Club's area at the Club's invitation.

3. Accounts and access

  • To use the platform you need an account, created by the Club or at its invitation.
  • You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account. If you suspect misuse, tell the Club or contact us.
  • The Club decides who has access to what, through the roles and permissions of its area.

4. Demo club

  • Demo access is free, lasts 7 days and needs no card and no installation.
  • The demo club uses fictitious data. Don't enter real data about athletes or anyone else.
  • The demo is there so you can get to know the platform. We don't guarantee its availability, and the account is deleted after the 7 days, along with anything you did there.

5. Subscription

  • The features and prices of the plans (Lite and Full) and of the add-on modules are set out on the website's plans page or in the proposal sent to the Club. Prices shown exclude VAT.
  • Where the commercial terms agreed with the Club (plan, period, invoicing and renewal) differ from these terms, the agreed terms prevail.

6. Personal data

  • YouthPro does not collect athlete data.
  • How we process the data of people who visit the website or request a demo is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Payments

  • Membership fees, registrations and other amounts owed to the Club are paid through a payment provider (for example MB WAY, Multibanco or card). Payment data is processed by that provider and is not stored in YouthPro.
  • The Club is responsible for the amounts it charges and for its relationship with those who pay. We're not liable for payments made outside the platform.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use YouthPro for unlawful purposes, or to store or share unlawful content;
  • access data or areas you're not authorised to access;
  • try to get round security measures, overload the platform or copy its code;
  • share data about athletes or anyone else without a legal basis.

We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these rules.

9. Intellectual property

YouthPro's software, design, trade marks and logos belong to YouthPro Lda. A subscription gives the Club the right to use the platform; it doesn't transfer those rights.

The data and content the Club enters remain the Club's.

10. Availability and liability

  • We do our best to keep YouthPro available and secure. Even so, there may be interruptions for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.
  • To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, such as loss of profit or of opportunity, arising from the use of the platform or from being unable to use it.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, such as for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. The date of the last update is at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know through the platform or the website before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If there's any difference between this version and the Portuguese one, the Portuguese version prevails.
